Plugins and addons
Plugins and add-ons are a major part of Fixtatik MS. They offer more powerful solutions, extensions, and can interact with each other to truly give you a customized experience.
Getting plugins
The base installation of FMS supports only graphics and images. To add more content options, like layouts, you'll have to download additional plugins, which you can get from the plugin directory.
Installing plugins
After you've downloaded the ZIP archive, unzip it to a convenient location on your computer. Then, in an FTP client, browse to the /content/plugins folder of your FMS installation. Upload the folder to that directory.
Next, login to your admin panel and go to Manage plugins. Click the red switch next to your plugin to turn it on and activate it.
Some plugins may have specific installation instructions. You should read through the install guide on each plugin's page.
Official plugins
Some plugins are label as having “official” status, meaning they're developed and maintained by Fixtatik. Here's a list of the official plugins:
- Myspace layouts (profile 1.0 & 2.0): support for Myspace layouts.
- HTML Templates: support for HTML templates.
- Tumblr Themes: support for Tumblr layouts.
